.
This was made to talk about a false advertising blunder on the part of TNA Wrestling. Included here you'll see an exclusive interview I had with the editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and webpage, Dave Meltzer.
In this interview you will see how when he was informed of this blunder, he conviently decided to dodge the issue though he's the first to mention blundersa by the WWE. You will see Meltzer dodge the issue with me and make all sorts of excuses up. Excuses on top of excuses when his excuses get called upon. dave meltzer just has many excuses when other wrestling news pages mentioned what will be mentioned here about the TNA Advertising blunder.
Dave Meltzer, who the smart marks and generally clueless media claim as to a 'credible and knowledgeable journalist and 'source'. will falter on his own words here. For all te time he took in trying to justify dodging the issue with numerous (and well pointless) excuses. he could've just mentioned it. But because he likes to have TNA employees like Mick Foley on his Observer show, he didn't want to risk his lips being pried away from the butt of TNA, so he felt it was better to "pull a Vince Russo" and make several excuses that didn't make sense, nor were logical.
Now that Mr. Meltzer clearly didn't want to risk his as kissing of TNA, this story has gone out anyway, and now Meltzer comes off looking like a clueless idiot for not taking what he was informed of first, before anyother wrestling site was, and going with it. The other sites have and now have stated thatr Meltzer had backed down from running it. So now the story gets bigger because Meltzer dropped the ball, and made himself look like a complete buffoon in doing so.
That...will be shown right here for all to see. Meltzer's own words put his foot, in his mouth. read and enjoy an idiot in meltzer continue to falter when called on time and again.
The reason behind this is simple. A few people wrote Mr. Meltzer on the fact that TNA Wrestling falsely advertises their "Bound For Glory" DVD at 'major retailers' everywhere. but in some states, like Wisconsin, Maine, North Dakota and Texas. at several Walmarts, KMarts and Sears stores, (which are the ONLY 'major retailers in them areas, and Walmart is the bigges major retailer in the world) this dvd wasn't available. When staff at these stores were asked about this, they had no clue what was being talked about. They never heard of the DVD, or in one store's case, never heard of TNA Wrestling.
So since there's no Best Buy or Circuit City in these areas, Walmart, Kmart and Sears serve as 'major retailers'. so since this dvd wasn't available and only one copy of the Kurt Angle DVD TNA put out was at one store. This constitutes False advertising on TNA's part.
How can "Bound For Glory" be available at 'major retailers' if this was checked out and found not to be true? It's obvious the ad needs to be changed to 'some major retailers'.
Mr. Meltzer who's very known for mentioning EVERY WWE vlunder including false advertising, was informed about this. But because he recently had Mick Foley (a current TNA employee) on his Observer show, he didn't want to jeapordize TNA not supplying meltzer with future guests, so Dave conviently dodged this issue, but decided to mention yet another WWE advertising blunder in his current "smackdown spoilers" post.
hypocritical? indeed the obvious is there on that. say one thing about a comp[any that won't supply his litle show with guests but when another company does supply guests and does a blunder. Melzer suddenly suffers from "selective reporting". Facts are facts and if one company or more are doing false advertising, then mention them all, not just the ones you can't kiss ass to.
The people who invest money in TNA deserve to get that dvd and all their dvds at the 'major retailers' in THEIR area. and TNA if they really want to be 'the alternative' show own up to this case of false advertising and either correct it and say they did, or change the ad, because it's very misleading, and th better business beauru would be more than happy to hear about this.
